For the Truffle Ganache:

  • 8 oz (225g) high-quality dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Innocent Spirits Distillery Premium Gin

For Coating:

  • Cocoa powder
  • Finely chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, pistachios, or hazelnuts)
  • Shredded coconut
  • Dark chocolate shavings


1. Prepare the Ganache:

  1. Place the finely chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and unsalted butter over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat.
  3. Pour the hot cream mixture over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for a minute to melt the chocolate.
  4. Gently stir the mixture until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

4. Coat the Truffles:

  1. Prepare separate bowls with cocoa powder, finely chopped nuts, shredded coconut, and dark chocolate shavings.
